Elevator Appointed for Moray Innovation Centre
Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has appointed a specialist operating company to run a new multi-million-pound innovation centre to support manufacturing in Moray. The Manufacturing Innovation Centre Moray (MICM) has been developed by HIE at Enterprise Park Forres to stimulate innovation and growth in manufacturing companies across Moray and create hundreds of jobs over the next decade. More than 90% of participants who took part in a pilot scheme aiming to inspire female entrepreneurs say they now feel ready to start their own businesses. Shell expands flagship entrepreneur programme across Scotland
Shell is expanding its flagship enterprise development programme Shell LiveWIRE across Scotland. The programme, which aims to help entrepreneurs overcome hurdles to growing their business, had initially been launched in North-East Scotland. Shell LiveWIRE is now being offered across the country. Businesses are being given the opportunity to support their growth through Shell LiveWIRE, a global entrepreneurship programme that is returning to Scotland thirty years after it was first founded. Shell LiveWIRE is seeking small and medium enterprises who have a clear ambition for expansion but are experiencing hurdles on their journey.
