A community-based programme for aspiring women entrepreneurs across Moray, Angus, and South Glasgow.

E3f was a dedicated business support programme designed to empower women from diverse backgrounds to take the first steps into entrepreneurship. Delivered by Elevator and fully funded by the Scottish Government, this 6-week initiative focused on building confidence, developing ideas, and connecting women with a supportive community of peers and experts.

Through a mix of in-person and online delivery, the programme helped women develop their entrepreneurial skills, understand business fundamentals, and feel empowered to explore self-employment as a real and viable option — regardless of starting point or circumstance.

Whether participants arrived with a fully formed business idea or just a spark of curiosity, E3f offered them space to grow, be inspired, and build something amazing.

Many women face barriers to entrepreneurship – from confidence gaps to lack of access to networks or tailored support. E3f was designed to break down those barriers by meeting women where they are, both geographically and in their business journey. The programme celebrated potential, encouraged action, and built a sense of community that extended beyond the six-week experience.
