The Rural Leaders: Unlocking Regional Opportunities programme is a pioneering pilot initiative, designed to be trialled in the Angus region over a 6 month period. This 6-month journey will focus on helping Rural Leaders to unlock new growth opportunities, foster innovation, and prepare for future investment.

The programme will run from 29 October 2024 to 25 March 2025 and is designed to rally Rural Leaders from Angus to step up, share their insights, and support this new pilot effort aimed at transforming the region.

Led by Scottish Enterprise and delivered by Elevator, this pilot will bring 15 Rural Leaders together to drive innovation and create lasting impact on both their businesses and the Angus region.

As a previous Scottish Rural Leadership Programme (SRLP) participant, you’ve already invested in your leadership skills and demonstrated the ambition and drive to lead in your field. Now is your chance to take that investment further, igniting your scaling journey and unlocking transformational growth for both your business and the region.

Here’s what you can expect from the programme:

• Advance your innovation skills through expert-led workshops designed to spark new ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate for growth by leveraging the collective power of partnerships, field visits and unlocking new opportunities through peer support and shared challenges.
• Become investment-ready by developing a robust plan and the confidence to secure the funding needed to drive your business forward.
