Then our Investment for Growth programme is for you...

The Investment for Growth programme is designed to help you and your business on the journey towards investment readiness. Throughout the duration of this programme, you will learn how to demystify, navigate and leverage a sophisticated array of tools and techniques that will ultimately guide you towards investment for growth. 

The Investment for Growth programme is delivered by Elevator on behalf of Business Gateway Edinburgh & Lothians and The City of Edinburgh Council.

This programme is designed for Edinburgh businesses who have:

• An existing business or start up based in City of Edinburgh
• The ambition to grow your business/organisation to the next level through raising investment
• Already undertaken some prior research into the type of investment you are seeking (i.e. seed, angel, syndicate, venture capital)
• The commitment to invest time in yourself and your business, to learn, grow and build supportive connections along the way 

• Industry leading training - including delivery by Finlay Kerr (Frejz) and Andrew Cameron (Elevator).
• Access to expert information - understand different types of investors, their expectations, and the best practices for pitching and negotiating with them
• Feedback and validation - learn from peers, and mentors and experienced investors who will offer insights and suggestions on how to improve your proposal
• Pitch building and practice - create a show-stopping pitch deck and learn how to bring your pitch to life through storytelling 
• New connections - have the chance to pitch in front of 'friendly professionals' including solo investors, angel groups, VCs and agents.

Dates: Thursday 23^rd May, 30^th May, 6^th June, 13^th June and 27^th June

Times: Sessions will run from 1030 – 1430  (access from 1000)
