Cally Russell is an inspirational entrepreneur, known for his innovative approach to sustainable fashion and technology.

Cally's journey began with Mallzee, a shopping app he launched in 2013, which grew to over 1.5 million downloads. The data generated from Mallzee helped some of the biggest brands in the UK decided what to make and what to avoid.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought new challenges, leading Cally to launch the charity focused Lost Stock experience.  This initiative sold clothes that were cancelled by big brands, supporting garment workers affected by the pandemic.

In just seven months, Lost Stock sold 125,000 orders and supported over 113,000 people in Bangladesh. Building on this success, Cally co-founded This is Unfolded in 2021. The company eliminates waste by producing clothes only after orders are placed, ensuring that every item is wanted by consumers.

Cally's innovative approach has earned him recognition, including being named in Forbes' 30 Under 30. His entrepreneurial journey also includes two appearances on Dragons' Den, where he turned down investment offers both times, highlighting his strong commitment to his business principles and long-term goals. His work continues to inspire many in the fashion industry and beyond, showcasing how business can be a force for good.

Cally Russell live at the Transform Business Festival Tayside on Thursday 20th February, 2025.
