In Scotland, around £9bn of Public Sector goods and services are tendered each year, with contracts ranging from over £20m to less than £1000.
For many businesses, a public sector contract can offer a valuable financial boost, helping the business to grow.
However, the procurement process can sometimes appear confusing, and many businesses are unclear how to meet or contact local public sector buyers who can offer these public sector contracts to businesses.
We would therefore like to invite any business that is looking to find out more about bidding for work from the Public Sector to our free Tayside Meet the Buyer event. This event will put attendees in direct touch with a wide range of organisations, who can offer advice, information, and answer any questions on attendees may have on contracts and the tendering process.
Exhibitors will include buyers from The NHS, Local Authorities, Universities, Scottish Government and business support organisations.
When: Tuesday 24th February, 10am – 2pm. Drop in event – no booking required.
Where: Best Western Invercarse Hotel, 371 Perth Road, Dundee, DD2 1PG.
Cost: Free.
For more information on this event please contact John Scott at Dundee City Council on 01382 434275.
