In association with The Prince's Trust, Enterprise North East Trust is delighted to be involved with our third 'Get into...' employment scheme this year. Enterprise recruited for The Prince's Trust 'Get into...' Oil and Gas scheme (in association with Tullos Training) , ‘Get into...’ Social Care Scheme (in association with Cornerstone) and now im August and September the 'Get into...' Retail, in association with Marks & Spencer. More than half of the recruits the previous 2 schemes found full time employment as a result of these programmes.

Lynne Martin, Project Manager of these schemes at Enterprise North East Trust said:
"The Prince’s Trust ‘Get into…’ programmes are a great way for young people to gain valuable and practical training, and have a real chance of starting their career in their chosen sector. The upcoming Retail programme will train the candidates in customer service and selling, as well giving them the opportunity to develop their teamwork and communication skills."
Aberdeen City and Shire unemployed people aged 16-25 aspiring to work for one of the UK's largest clothing and food retailer's will have the opportunity to 'Make Their Mark' with a scheme run by Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise), The Prince's Trust, and Marks and Spencer this Autumn.
'Make Your Mark' is a four week programme which includes a work placement at Marks and Spencer stores as well as in-depth training about the retail industry, such as stock rotation and control. The course concludes with a chance to gain employment with Marks and Spencer. Expenses incurred for food and travel will be covered and applicants who are successful will benefit from six months of support in finding a job after the programme.
Enterprise run a variety of projects throughout the year focusing on the development of entrepreneurship and employability in young people, so it is ideal for us to be involved in the recruitment of candidates for The Prince's Trust schemes.
