H.I.T The Market: Help Into Trade Project
Young Enterprise Scotland, who we work with closely at Enterprise North East Trust, is delighted to have been shortlisted as one of the finalists within the RBS Inspiring Youth Enterprise Fund with their inspiring H.I.T. the Market: Help into Trade Project. To help college students further they need your vote (please follow this link and click 'vote for us').
Within this project, College students will be trained in skills such as sales, marketing and pricing and assigned market stalls to put theory into practice.
This new area of support to the Bridge 2 Business Programme is in reaction to the benefits that have been seen by giving students the encouragement and support to benefit from opportunities to sell their products and services.
Geoff Leask, Head of Entrepreneurship at Young Enterprise Scotland said
“You cannot beat the real life scenario of learning by doing with sales. Getting the price right, customer feedback and how to set up your pitch is vital if you want to be successful in business”.
This project will have a real legacy and will be supported by appropriate training as required.
So to help Bridge 2 Business help more young people, please take 2 minutes to cast your vote on the Inspiring Enterprise website –
no complicated forms just a click to vote!
We wish the Young Enterprise Scotland team the best of luck!
