The energy industry is facing a transition towards a low carbon future, with an emphasis on making exploration, production and exploitation of hydrocarbon energy sources as environmentally sustainable as possible.
We are looking for the next pipeline of individuals with earth shattering - or rather earth saving - energy business ideas to join the latest Grey Matters powered by Elevator accelerator.
The intensive, fully funded 16-week programme - a joint initiative between Scottish Enterprise, BP and The Oil & Gas Technology Centre - exposes individuals to a client and investor community, typically a challenge for start-up businesses, while exploring energy transition analysis and opportunity identification.
We’re looking to recruit those with the ability to develop cost-effective, safer and more efficient solutions which will have a positive impact on the global energy sector - and ultimately, help to reduce global carbon footprint.
With collaboration a prominent focus for the energy sector, we are aiming to create a pool of like-minded entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge, experience and form new teams to take their innovative ideas to the next level.
An impressive eleven new ventures have been created through Grey Matters since its initial launch in 2017 and each is helping to drive positive change in the energy sector. With previous founder, Gavin Munro of GM Flow, praising the programme for helping him find ‘the right individuals to form’ his team.
Does your idea have what it takes to be our twelfth success story? Or are your strengths exactly what are needed for the latest company ready to shake the energy sector?
