If this sounds like you, then Elevator is now recruiting for a motivated and forward-thinking Digital Consultant to play a leading role within its digital subsidiary, Targeting Innovation.

The Role…

We are seeking that special person who is motivated, experienced and not afraid to think differently, comfortable both working on their own assignments and within a close team who are making a big difference to businesses across Scotland. You’ll enjoy a very dynamic role where one day you may find yourself discussing digital marketing with an international brewery based in Perthshire and, on another, website optimisation or social media with a fashion retailer from Glasgow. We are keen to speak with candidates with a variety of skills and experiences and so your strengths may exist in one particular digital area or may span multiple subject areas.

Targeting Innovation is one of Scotland’s principal deliverers of public sector contracts and plays an important role in enhancing the digital capabilities of SME’s. This role will involve working with business owners across a range of industry sectors to drive business improvements through a number of digital interventions including 1-2-1 advice and training. Below are examples of subject areas where we are particularly looking for skills and experience. You will not be expected to be an expert in all of these but should have a sufficiently broad digital working knowledge and be comfortable in providing advice across several topics.

  • Office Productivity Solutions (e.g. O365, Google Business Suite)

  • Data Architecture and Solutions
  • Business Process Automation
  • Cyber Security
  • E-Commerce
  • Scoping Requirements
  • Implementation Support

You Are...

  • An individual motivated by ambitious KPIs
  • Strong administration skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • A proven track record in working with people and / or businesses
  • The ability to travel between sites and across local authority areas where necessary
  • A high level of IT skills in applications including Microsoft
  • Excellent verbal communication and the ability to “think on your feet” to adapt to any audience
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • The ability to work to achieve targets
  • A seasoned multitasker who can manage their own time and workload efficiently
  • Excellent networking skills
  • An individual with a business-related qualification/experience or have previously run your own business
  • A full driver’s licence.
