scottish home show 2014 aberdeenXcite Media Ltd, event organisers behind the Scottish Home Show (SHS) 2014, are today lending support to local students, sole traders and small businesses associated with the home improvement sector, by giving them the chance to showcase their products or services to visitors of one of the largest home improvement exhibitions in Scotland – all for free.

In partnership with Federation of Small Businesses and Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise), the competition, which launches today (Friday, August 15th 2014), invites students, sole traders or small businesses which have been trading for less than 18 months to submit a proposed stand design for the chance to win a 3×2 shell scheme stand and power supply at this year’s show from 26-28th September at the AECC.

Isla Stewart, business development manager for Xcite Media, comments: “For many small businesses the financial outlay required to exhibit at industry shows is just not realistically achievable or affordable. Some of these students and companies have amazing home improvement products and services to offer the general public, and so we decided that this would be an ideal opportunity to lend support to the local business community.
