DSCN3104Elevating Young People into Entrepreneurship with Young Enterprise Scotland and Scotland's Enterprising Schools

Elevator is the delivery partner for Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) and Scotland’s Enterprising Schools (SES) in the North East of Scotland. Lucia Giuntoli, Elevator Project Manager works in both primary and secondary schools across Tayside and Grampian to promote entrepreneurship in young people.

YES and SES have developed a number of programmes to engage educators and young people in a ‘learn by doing’ way.

jama3YES also offer classroom based programmes that are reflective of the four capacities of the Curriculum for Excellence which work towards the Developing the Young Workforce ‘I Can’ statements. These programmes let young people experience and think about what it takes to be enterprising in learning, life and work. There is a range of programmes tailored to specific age groups and vary from half days to full days. A number of the programmes creates the opportunity to raise money for schools.

An online portal of information offered by SES for teachers and influencers is designed to help educate young people to enhance their enterprise & entrepreneurship skills, improve problem-solving skills and develop leadership and teamwork skills.
