  • Who is eligible to enter? The competition is open to anyone with a new idea/businesses that have been trading for less than 6 months on 31/10/16. 
  • How to enter: submit your details and video link HERE
  • What is the cut-off date and time? All videos must be sent by close of business 5PM on Monday 31st October.
  • Do entrants need to be above or below a certain age? There is no age limit.
  • How many videos can you submit? 1 video each person.
  • Can videos be submitted any way other than by uploading to the contest? No thank you.
  • How long should the videos be? The video should be 1 minute long, no longer. 
  • How many people can be in the video? Any amount of people can be included in the video application however, only 1 person will pitch at the Elevator Conference if you are a finalist. 
  • What happens after they submit the video? Elevator will review all video applications and pick 5 finalists. The 5 finalists will be invited to do a 1minute LIVE pitch at the Elevator Conference on Tuesday, 15th November in front of the audience and a panel of judges.
  • How are the 5 Finalists chosen? Elevator will judge all video applications based on the 1-minute video.
  • When will the 5 Finalists be announced? The Finalists will be announced on Friday, 4th November.
  • Are there any specific requirements for the video content? No- We are all about creativity and innovation! Our top tip is to make sure your business/business idea is described as clearly as possible in the 1-minute time frame. 
  • What is the prize? The winner of the best pitch at the Elevator Conference 2016 will be given a £250 cash prize to use for their business. 
  • Do you also pitch live on the day if you win? The 5 finalists will pitch at the Elevator Conference in front of the audience and a panel.
