Elevator's Accelerator - Perth
Elevator’s latest Accelerator Programme – The FGIC (Famous Grouse Idea Centre) Accelerator - powered by Elevator, opens for the first wave of applications in November 2017 and will launch its Pilot Programme in February 2018. This is a fully funded intensive 12-week Programme which has been designed to encourage existing creative businesses looking to grow and flourish in one of Scotland’s fastest growing sectors.
Business support, collaboration and inspiration are at the heart of this Accelerator.
Participants will be immersed in the best business advice and guidance, motivated by success stories, guided by mentors and will engage in specialist training whilst surrounded by fellow creatives who will share the experience and collaborate on this Journey.
Situated in Perth's thriving city centre at the AK Bell Library, those engaged in the Accelerator Programme will have access to cutting-edge technology and a vibrant environment. A variety of entrepreneurial themes will be covered each week including but not limited to; establishing a business model, goal setting, identifying new markets and opportunities, vision, mission, and values, customer relationships, cash-flow and finance, intellectual property, pitching, scale and growth and exit strategy.
Who do we consider to be creative businesses?
Some of the sub-sectors we hope to work with are as follows:
Visual Arts, Design, Performing Arts, Crafts, Fashion & Textiles, Architecture, Photography, Film and Video, Radio and TV, Writing and Publishing, Heritage, Software/Electronic Publishing, Computer Gaming and Advertising. We will consider any ambitious creative businesses, so please register to find out more.
The Programme will run two days per week; Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9:30am to 4pm with one evening event every four weeks.

Elevator takes no equity in the businesses they assist, there is no fee to participate in Elevator's Accelerator Programme. Elevator is a social enterprise dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, business leaders, business owners.
Elevator also delivers free business support services via Business Gateway across Tayside and in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
